Our experience

We had the chance to visit middle school "Antonino De Stefano" in two different dates (December 10th and March 24th) to show its students our school program. Of course, we didn't do that in a "traditional" way, so we tried to let them see how you can learn while having fun in two languages, English and Spanish! We didn't do all the job by ourselves, in fact we had two exchange students with us, a Finnish and an Ecuadorian girl. Both of them showed us different aspects of their living styles and cultures, always followed by a very detailed and funny presentation with pictures of their countries.

Experiences from abroad
Our girls entertained the middle schoolers with lots of curiosities about their cultures, and traditions (for example, we discovered that each house in Finland has at least a sauna, isn’t it amazing?)

What have we talked about?
In each one of our visits, we've showed the students many different things, from which they could learn something. In the first meeting we've talked about how a healthy diet is fundamental in our lives and we've thought them how to stay fit, while in the second one we presented our english and spanish school program

How was this experience?
We found it quite easy to interact with the students, even because we’re teenagers too and we understand that this kind of activity could be boring some times. That’s why we’ve tried our best to keep them entertained with fun games and quizzes that they all enjoyed solving!

The interactive side

Of course we couldn’t pretend to be heard all the time while repeating english and spanish literature, so we found a different way to let the guys understand things by themselves: each time we finished explaining something, they had the possibility to come near us and solve some riddles about what they had just heard from us. It must be said that this was the absolute favorite part of all the presentation for them: they kinda started creating “teams” and cheering everytime they got a correct answer. It was a lot of fun even for us!
